I really need to
March 7th, 2005 by Sarin
stop drinking.
In the past three nights, drinking has caused me to do and see horrible things. For example, my drinking has caused me to
- Black out at Scorps (maybe due to the 2 and a half XL pitchers that I took like a man)
- Get me sick and hungover to call out of work (and spending the good day in bed till 3pm at a cost of $72 that I should have made)
- Lose my appetite
- Throw a sausage fest party
- Play G-rated dirty dice with people I really shouldn’t, and licking people in places I shouldn’t
- Hang out with a 19 yr old till 3 in the morning (if you are that 19 year old, please don’t be offended)
- Go looking for my blow up doll girlfiend
- Have nasty gas for the greater part of a Saturday
- Play a good beirut record of 5-1 (dynasty anyone?)
- Lose my rhythm
- Witness the greatest funneling job known to the Gables
- and throwing a sissy fit at an old friend that I don’t talk much to therefore making me look like a jackass
By the time I woke up on Sunday morning, I felt good. In fact, too good considering I did horrible things to myself. This drinking needs to stop and I should start feeling guilty. I don’t understand how I was able to last so long considering most people don’t drink the same drink after they puked it out the night before (that damn Miller Lite). Maybe I’m becoming invincible.
Maybe I should stop thinking the things I do are funny after I do them. After all, I’m only fucking myself.

Dude, Gables parties are sausage fests, it’s a fact of life. I had fun rocking out to At the Drive In!
Well I’m glad that someone else sees it as a problem…
But there has been parties where the party definitely swings towards girls. Yanno those crowds where the girls are collectively a tight cohesive unit that get more pleasure out of it than you. Then I wake up the next day and tell my other friends that I threw a ‘chick party’. There is some shame in my voice, because hey, you’d have to think like a girl in order to get them to come.
and yes, rocking out to At The Drive In should always be fun.
