Man that party sucked
November 16th, 2004 by Sarin
Yeah, that toga party was crap. Not many peeps came, not many of my friends were around, and nobody had the urge to drink. I expected it was going to be crap anyway; it wasn’t my idea to begin with, I treated it like nothing, and I really should have gone home.
Plus, it was just a bad weekend in general to drink. Alot of us went home, planning on going home, working, or were ‘busy’. For some, it was an extra long weekend if they took that Friday off, and I probably should have done it too. Also, we really didn’t tell anybody about it, and I didn’t go out of my way to really make people come. So, what the hell, I live in C tower, I can’t ask for much.
Other than that, last week bought the cold. I mean cold cold. It actually snowed for the first time this season, yet I don’t remember autumn being too pleasantful. I feel it is way too early to be putting on the jackets, warming up the cars, drinking hot chocolate and carrying chapstick like a neccesity. In a sense though, it’s not actually the cold that sucks. It’s more, the cold without the fun snow.
I heard that Rhode Island got even more snow then New Hampshire did. However the thought of that is so much more pleasant than light snow in Durham. I think winter is awesome in Rhode Island. Even if there’s a blizzard in town, there is still lots of fun to be had. I’ve spent most of my winters in Rhode Island (duh), and there’s less of a depression, boring sweep, as compared to when I am up here. In Rhode Island, everything’s close anyway, so why not go for a slippery drive.
As far as looking forward to staying indoors more often, I think I got it covered. I am all geared for a new bigger hard drive for my computer, so expect me to watch more movies & old tv shows. The apartment has been playing Halo 2 alot and I regularly play online for maybe an hour a day. I can’t get off FaceBook for hours sometimes, I have end of the semester work to be done, and the amount of reading/blogging I do is overloading me.
So gear up for winter. Faster than Paris Hilton, we’ll soon have ‘em all. Turkey day, Christmaskuh, finals, Christmas, New Year’s eve.
Don’t be a stranger now.
