It’s humorous, c’mon. It just blatantly plays on stereotypes when in reality the nation is still divided no matter where you are.
For instance, it just assumes the south is all about morals, and assumes the south is nothing but Republicans (hence the No you cannot have your convention in New York anymore).
And even saying New England, as if it shapes who you are, and the people around you, that’s a stereotype. There’s plenty of ‘Southern’ flavored people in New England. As for New England being pretty pissy lately, we just are. Maybe it’s ‘cuz we have alot more to be pissed off about. But it’s progression, we WANT to see things change.
So what, we re-fight the Civil War? What is it with people and north vs. south, anyway? Sometimes I wish I hadn’t been born in friggin’ New England.
