Registered Democrat

Today I signed and mailed in my voter registration form and application for mail ballot to the City of Cranston, RI. I am registered under the Democratic party, and will not vote for Bush’s reelection.
Within the blogosphere, it is easy to get too much information, not enough information, wrong information, propaganda, right wing rags, and left wing crybabies. Alas, I have read enough right wing pro-Bush propaganda to know that I either don’t agree with them or think they are just full of shit.
In the end though, if Kerry doesn’t win the election, at least I know I did my part. I think Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam said it best on their supposed farewell concert in Seattle, November 6th 2000.
If you don’t vote, let that be your epitaph. Let them…if you don’t vote tomorrow, let them put that on your fucking gravestone. Jack Smith, didn’t vote. Vote. I’ll see ya there. And then..uh.. That’s it, have a lovely life. We’ll try to do the same. This is goodbye.
Indeed, we ain’t going out without a fight.
