DVD marketing must go
August 12th, 2004 by Sarin
I was watching some of the Kill Bill Vol. 2 DVD that came out, and I was sort of glad not to buy it. Normally, I am really really strict that you should never buy a DVD because it has lots of extras (these are movies, people), but this time I know it is better to wait.
The fans waited a long time before Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and Jackie Brown came out on DVD and they gave the movies so much more value because they were reissued. I’m still not a big fan of extreme special editions, but for a Quentin movie, I know a double dip will be worth the wait.
Another double dip I will be looking forward to is Goodfellas from Martin Scorcese. Goodfellas and of course Kill Bill Vol. 2 are personal favorites.
