No more sleeping in »

Last week when Shrek 2 was still hot, you could catch the first 5 minutes of the movie online. Tonight the first 10 minutes of The Chronicles of Riddick will be shown at 11 o clock on MTV. This is a new marketing strategy as more and more bad summer blockbusters hit the screens. I actually think it is pretty cool to to get like a teaser of the film in order to hype interest. But in all interest, even after you paid your 9 dollars to get your interest out of the way, the movie will still suck.

Seen any brown spots in the movies lately? Anti Pirating technology upping the ante up here and there. I swear it is like every year the movie theatre industry is making it more and more painful for us chaps to enjoy a film. Sitting through tons of commercials before actual trailers and the film, and then they actually have the nerve to charge you 9 dollars. In my interest, if technology becomes more and more widespread, theaters will be soo grueling… you wouldn’t want to pirate movies anymore.

Possibly the only movie I have interest of seeing….besides Spider Man 2 is Fahrenheit 9/11. The industry is abuzz and political players are quick into choosing sides with Michael Moore. I for sure will take his ideas with a grain of salt, considering Bowling for Columbine was so far fetched. It should be quite the conversation when Fahrenheit finally premieres in the states. With election coming up soon, (I still don’t have any affiliation so far) it would be quite interesting to see the backlash this film will receive. We’ll just have to see how it goes from here.
