Notes from Friday

So the other temp place didn’t call me to wake up and move. That’s fine, I slept in…way in…like 1 o clock almost. And then I got to get up and do my thang…

It always suprises me when traffic hits Cranston. You’re gone for so long and then when you get back, traffic is a really big issue. I’m used to New Hampshire traffic or lack of traffic in the collegetown, but once I get back here, I actually get annoyed when I wait in line at Wal-Mart. I shouldn’t have to wait for long moments just to get a haircut, but I did, and I just stuck up to it because I did it for so long.

So tonight at Remmi’s I saw Jamie Hill for the 5th time in 8 days. Now this has been quite the summer if I happen to run into the SAME GIRL who I don’t expect to see almost every day. I swear I never got to see her alot last summer, something must be wrong, but last weekend I saw the same guys for three nights in a row after not seeing them for months. We’ll just see how it goes from there.

And Alicia’s haircut looks good. REALLY good, as in it gave her two years onto her look. I get a haircut and my only aim is to go back two years. I usually accomplish this, but then again I AM A GUY.

In music news, all you could hear about today is the band Creed broke up and all I could say is….
GOOD!

I am more excited in knowing that Scott Stapp is apart from the band… I always thought Tremonti, the musical leader, wasn’t being showcased the way he was because of f’in Stapp. C’mon, you know back in the day you bought the My Own Prison record and you thought it was good. Real good. But then Scott just got into suck. And more suck.

Thank you Scott Stapp for breaking up Creed. From now on, Tremonti will continue to do music to a different beat. And he already has started.

In a way, I reaaallly want to see the new Harry Potter. Not because I liked this book the more than the previous two, but I am wondering how much more to the table Alfonso Cuaron can bring to the series. Alfonso brought you Y Tu Mama, Tambien, which I highly recommend watching for those into indie films. The notion that Cuaron (with his style) would direct such a mainstream movie brings about my interest. Roger Ebert gave this movie a lesser review than both the other two Potters so maybe I might liken this film. From what I hear it is darker and more relaxed than Columbus’ previous two. But I have always had a knack for the way the first two film’s stories were told. I guess I will have to see the film, in order to disagree with what Ebert reported.
