Hello everybody,

Looks like I have returned.

It has been quite a while since I have kept a weBlog. I remembered keeping one my senior year of high school when NOONE had one, and I thought I was cool shit. I absolutely don’t remember where I got the idea from, but when LiveJournal became big and such, I felt like I was an innovator. Yeah, eventually everybody decides to ditch their Blogs, I gave it up pretty much when I got to college and never picked it up.

Well I am back, and I should be very pissed off. Things are quite different. My old webpage was hosted on Boltpages and I was restricted to how much and how easy it was for me to publish. Now, I host everything myself, and I have lots more control since it is on my machine. Technically that would be the only difference.

Since then, quite has changed. I am a junior in college, I don’t drive the Red Accord, and I don’t have the phone to match. Actually I don’t have a phone at all. Another thing that I had before they became popular. Most people don’t realize or remember that I had a cell phone throughout my last two years of high school. I was one of the firsts again, so when my plan got cut off, and everybody started getting into cell phones, I wasn’t about to jump right back on the bandwagon.

Although, I was really attached my cell phone at first, it sometimes felt good to give it up. I was no longer attached to the outside world, so I could be free whenever I felt like. I still like that feeling, but it is bearing on me. Since being in college, it almost requires being in 4 or 5 places at once. In a typical summer week, I go from being home, to being at work, to visiting friends up north, to taking trips to unknown locations. I am not stuck to being just in RI like I was in high school, and I think I owe it to other people to keep my ass in the loop.

If you think about it, since I kept my ground and used my phone for nonsense reasons, I felt like it was a waste of time. That’s probably why I have been stalling in getting another one.

Damn it, what a waste of a cell phone.
